Competition law in the EU and beyond: regulatory convergence and divergence

Thanks to the spring issue of the ENLR, detect the regulatory convergence and divergence between different legal systems. Although they are susceptible to similar legal risks, they create dissimilar outcomes for legal entities. The issue scrutinises the enforcement methods for antitrust rules in the US and the EU and illustrates the contrasting transatlantic regulations as regards ‘Big Data’. Learn also about the role of the Energy Community Treaty in the regional diffusion of EU competition law and keep informed of important national policies in Finland and Germany. On top of that, enjoy reading the in-depth analysis of the case T-486/11 Orange Polska by our ENLR board member András Tóth.

ENLR - European Networks Law & Regulation Quarterly

The ENLR provides a practical and intellectual forum to discuss, comment and review all issues raised by the development and implementation of EU law involving networks in the 27 EU Member States.
Contributors to the journal report on key legislative developments in EU institutions and the Member States, and analyse important judgments that shape the interpretation and application of EU law, in particular those by the European Courts, international courts and tribunals such as the WTO's Dispute Settlement Body, and higher national courts.
Furthermore, contributors address relevant legal, regulatory and administrative developments in EU Member States that shape the practical implementation of European law in this field.

The ENLR will report i.a. on the law & regulation governing, inter alia:

  • Electronic communications networks & respective downstream services
  • Energy networks & respective downstream supply
  • Railways and transportation networks & respective downstream services
  • Logistics and Postal services
  • Water distribution and infrastructure
  • Hydrocarbons’ distribution and infrastructure

However, the ENLR’s scope is open for further networks sectors and innovations.

The journal addresses everyone who is concerned with networks law and regulation issues such as legal practitioners in national and international law firms, government officials working in public administrations of the EU and its Member States, judges and legal experts in domestic, European and international courts, academia and consultancies in the EU and beyond and sectoral businesses in the EU and beyond.
